2014 Sights Of North Umpqua Flood

Recent rain storms have wreaked havoc on the rivers of the Umpqua Valley. Here are a few photos of high water along a portion of the North Umpqua River.


Hestnes Landing

The boat ramp and much of the parking lot was flooded.


IMG_1160IMG_1163Singleton Park was equally as flooded. This particular site is where the North and South Umpqua Rivers collide to form the Might Umpqua River. The massive flooding has completely obscured the 15-foot steep climb to the small beach area. A tree can be seen sticking up from the water in the center picture.
